Fall Season Opening Dinner and Annual Meeting, October 18
Members – As a reminder for the newer members, our Fall hunting season opening dinner and annual meeting is Friday, October 18th at 5PM. We usually have a great turnout for dinner and the first bird hunt the following Saturday morning. Forthcoming via US mail will be several documents regarding this event. However, I am posting them here as well so that you may download and review them now. One important document is the proxy which we need all members not attending to sign and return to me or Woody Mather. This can be done via email or US mail.
Also, we are in the final stages of finalizing the website (our first attempt at one in 100+ years so bear with us) to allow members to reserve fields, stream sections, sleeping rooms, dinners, the shooting range, duck blinds, etc. online. We think it will be a great tool for the members and club. A key feature of this reservation system will allow members to see who is attending dinners, which fields are reserved, what stream sections are reserved, etc., which is helpful to those driving long distances. During this transitional stage, if you have any problems with the website, email ([email protected]) or call (860-873-8356) to confirm your reservartions to ensure there are no issues or confusion.
Dinner, breakfast and lunch will be served each Friday (Dinner) and Saturday (breakfast and lunch) from October 18th until the first or second week in December. Make your reservations online.
